Welcome to Do You Know Cancer!
The DYKC team is excited to unveil our new website – but please bear with us, as it is a work in progress.
For those of who you have yet to connect with us on Twitter or Facebook, DYKC is an organization founded by a small group of people who know cancer. We believe that information can be the best form of cancer prevention. We promise to provide the latest in cancer news for all people, including cancer patients, survivors, and those who support them. We’ll have information about the latest cancer treatments, as well as content about leading oncologists and the best cancer clinics. Our mission is to empower and inform.
The most important part of DYKC, however, is YOU. We want to know how you know cancer. Maybe you’re a cancer survivor, or you recently received a cancer diagnosis. Perhaps your spouse or parent has cancer. Chances are, you know cancer somehow, and we want to hear your story.
By sharing our experiences, we hope to benefit the experience of other people. The story of your cancer journey might inspire someone else who is struggling with a recent diagnosis. If you’re a caregiver, sharing your experience may help someone else who is supporting a cancer patient. For those who have lost someone they loved to cancer, your story may help someone to process their emotions following the death of their friend or family member.
DYKC wants to hear from you. Check out our “Share” page for information about how you can contact us. We’re looking for stories, poems, pictures, videos, songs, and anything that illustrates how YOU know cancer. Before you submit your information, please view our disclaimer.
